Schiedel has undergone many changes under several owners since it was established in Erbach near Ulm (Germany) by Senator Friedrich Schiedel in 1946. Previous owners include Senator Schiedel, the company founder and post war pioneer, Redland PLC, an international British company, Lafarge Roofing GmbH, the leading supplier of roofing solutions worldwide and now Monier Group.
