Schiedel Going Green – ISO 14001 Certification

(Washington, Tyne and Wear, 10. January 2023) After months of intensive preparation with the following plants and sites, we are proud to announce that the TÜV (the German technical inspection authority) external environmental audits are now complete.

The ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Certification

Schiedel UK’s Washington branch and other Schiedel locations have successfully passed the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Certification!

The following sites are integrated in the ISO 14001 certification process:

– Munich (Head Office)
– Nußbach (Administration)
– Dürrweitzschen
– Erbach
– Golubovec
– Karup
– Schöllnach
– Sittensen
– Teplice
– Washington
– Wiesau

Schiedel had focused on this certification since before 2019 and, unfortunately, the process was delayed due to Covid 19.

Back on track, we are delighted to have taken another positive step towards environmental management and sustainability with this certification as part of our Going Green Programme.

Of course, we would like to thank all the colleagues at every site for their high commitment, dedication and collaboration.
