(Washington, Tyne and Wear, 20. June 2017) Schiedel Chimney System’s ICID Plus Double Wall Adjustable Starter Section, a quick and easy way of disconnecting a stove for inspection, has won ‘Best Flueing and Ventilation Product’ at this year’s Hearth & Home exhibition, which took place from 11th – 13th June at the Harrogate International Centre.

An innovative addition

As well as being easy to remove, the product is also extremely simple to install and as part of Schiedel’s new improved ICID Plus range, comes with a lifetime warranty.

The ICID range has now evolved into a multi-application system, suitable for use with traditional and pellet stoves, biomass appliances, mini/micro CHP and even condensing boilers.

The ICID Plus flue is designed so that the outer case is load bearing and inner liner is free to expand independently, ensuring thermal expansion is accommodated within each and every joint of the system.
