{"id":12438,"date":"2018-09-04T15:49:33","date_gmt":"2018-09-04T13:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.schiedel.com\/ie\/?p=12438"},"modified":"2022-06-01T12:01:09","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T10:01:09","slug":"schiedel-awarded-world-class-status-for-the-5th-consecutive-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.schiedel.com\/ie\/schiedel-awarded-world-class-status-for-the-5th-consecutive-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Schiedel awarded World Class Status for the 5th consecutive year"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Schiedel awarded World Class Status for the 5th consecutive year.<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Schiedel have been awarded the top honour for BMI Plants throughout the globe: The\u00a0World Class Award for the 5th consecutive year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>SPiD<\/strong>\u00a0(Superior Production Industrial Domain) awards were introduced just under ten years ago, as\u00a0part of activities within the full BMI restructuring, to improve the plants, as well as bringing them all in line to the same standards. The SPiD award was recently renamed to the\u00a0<strong>Factory Excellence Award<\/strong>, which, like the previous award, was based on KPI\u2019s, audits, improvement checks and health and safety.<\/p>\n<p>There are a number of tiers to the award, such as bronze, silver, gold, etc. but Schiedel have been awarded the top honour, the\u00a0<strong>World Class Award<\/strong>\u00a0for <strong>5\u00a0consecutive years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Out of 120 plants, only 3 (including Washington) have been awarded\u00a0<strong>World Class<\/strong>\u00a0S<strong>tatus<\/strong>, which means that Schiedel Chimney Systems in Washington are now one of the plants held up as an example to others on how to maximise efficiency.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.schiedel.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/57\/2017\/07\/picture2-300x53.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"53\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.schiedel.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/57\/2017\/07\/picture2-300x53.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.schiedel.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/57\/2017\/07\/picture2.jpg 449w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The presentation of the award was made by Andreas Schlechter and Giuliano Caglio.
