Hearth & Home Exhibition was a 3 day event which was held from 10th June to the 12th June 2018 at the Harrogate International Centre in Harrogate, United Kingdom. This event showcases product from Stove and Flue industry.

We were there again in 2018 and displayed a number of our latest products, including an Award Winner for Best Flueing and Ventilation at the show: The Opus ScandFire

On show at Hearth & Home was:

Opus ScandFire, a one stop solution for a real fireplace in your home. Adaptable to a wide variety of installations in new builds or existing properties. The Opus ScandFire is a new minimalist inset system featuring the Opus Tempo 70i stove within a highly insulating pumice-based frame and chimney. This one-stop solution for architects and designers allows a real fire to be specified for any new build, with the chimney and installation design work already done.

This won the Award at the show for Best Flueing and Ventilation Product.

The Schiedel Isokern Garden Fireplace is the ideal solution for outdoor living. The fireplace chimney is available in 4 sizes and is all delivered in a complete packaged solutions. The 500 version was on show at Harrogate. The natural pumice gives this outdoor fireplace all the insulation needed to have a safe and spectacular focal point of any garden. The relatively small footprint also means that this can be placed against any wall in even the tiniest of gardens or yards.

Pumice liner: Highly insulated for better draught with minimum heat loss, the pumice liner system comes in a range of 15 diameters, ideal for new build as well as relining existing masonry chimneys. Suitable for solid fuel, wood, oil and gas.

Ignis Protect: Ignis Protect is Schiedel’s award-winning wall pass thru’ systems, designed specifically for air tight, energy efficient and timber framed buildings. Suitable for SW and DW connecting flue pipes, Ignis Protect is available in both 90° and 45° versions.

Double Module (DM) chimney system: Quick and easy to install, Schiedel’s DM chimney system provides maximum insulation. Built from lightweight blocks, the outer and inner layers are installed at the same time, with a double layer of pumice, separated by an air gap to maximize chimney insulation.

We were delighted with the exhibition, which gives us an opportunity to have a chat with the many installers who work with our products, as well as stove manufacturers and distributors/merchants.
